"21"A great, unique movie

I recently went to the movies and saw "21," starring Kate Bosworth, Jim Sturgess, and Kevin Spacey. It was definitely one of the best movies I have seen in a long time and I recommend it to everyone. It wasn't your typical movie where everything works out for the characters so the audience is happy; it was a real life plot because it was based on a true story. Everything in the film is incredibly realistic so it's interesting throughout the entire movie. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering what will happen next, and the storyline is like no other movie.
"21" is about a group if brilliant students from MIT who learn to count cards, a method of using highly advanced math skills to predict the game of blackjack so you can always win. They fly to Las Vegas every weekend and make millions of dollars off the method they learned from their teacher, who plans their trips. Counting cards is not illegal, but the casino owners don't like it and they have security systems and guards watching for it. Anyone who is caught counting is beaten up and seriously threatened. Throughout the movie there are hints to this, and it has the audience wondering what the groups' fate will be. The movie is entirely unpredictable, though. Even when you think you know what will happen next there is always a unique, unexpected turn.
This movie is also more than just an interesting, true story. It's a story about a genuinely good guy who gets caught up in wealth, partying, and girls. He forgets about his true friends and turns into a completely different person. This part of the story gets very interesting at the end, but I don't want to give it away. It also has a little romance with the main character chasing a girl pretty out of his league. I won't disclose what happens with that situation, either, but it's original, and it's up and down.
The entire movie twists and turns so you don't know what to expect. Situations go from good, to bad, and back to good. It's funny, intellectual, and serious, with an excellent and truly original plot. I recommend every sees it.
